Bach is regarded as one of the greatest composers of all time, being the creator of many masterpieces of church and instrumental music that represents the best of the Baroque era. Examples of this are his Brandenburg Concertos, the Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
- Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840 - 1893)
Tchaikovsky was one of the most famous Russian composers by his beautiful gift for melody, by all of his songs evoke a profound emotional response. Some of his compositions include his Piano Concerto No.1, Swan Lake and the Sleeping Beauty.
- Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756 - 1791)
Mozart was one of the most influential composers of the classical period, masterfully composing in every musical format such as operas, choral works, concertos, symphonies, chamber music, solo's, sonatas and so on. The most famous piece of music he composed was his last symphony-the Jupiter Symphony.

Beethoven's universal appeal as the greatest composer who ever lived is by being the first "freelance composer" where instead of writing to satisfy one group, he wrote for humanity at whole. Some of his most popular pieces include his symphonies, sonatas and the widely known Für Elise.
